The Atrium

"The Atrium" is a low poly environment I created for my first Directed Focus Study at the Guildhall. The goal of the class is to have students work alone on creating more complex, polished pieces for use in portfolios.
For my project, I decided to create an environment inspired on concept art from the Bioshck series. Due to the limted time frame and scope of the project, I decided to give my own take rather than copying the concept exactly. I referenced both the concepts and in game assets in order to build this scene. All models are low poly and fully textured. The final pieces were rendered using Mental Ray in 3ds Max 2012.
I hope to get the scene into UDK soon.
